On June 5 th the coach of EDUQ Association took the volunteers to the monument of the Siberian deportees where they were introduced to a not
well-known, until Poland became a fully independent country after 1989, historical fact about the attack on Poland of the Russian army, which took place
on 17th September, just after the beginning the World War 2 by the Germans. This resulted in the forced sending of a large number of inhabitants of the
eastern part of the country to Siberia for forced work there and, as it is said, many couldn’t make it back home. That exhibition shows photos of the
deportees there together with the crucial information about the places of exile.We hope for the peace in the world.
5 czerwca coach Stowarzyszenia EDUQ zabrała wolontariuszy do miejsca zwanego Aleja Sybiraków, upamiętniającego wywóz dużej ilości mieszkańców
wschodniej części kraju na Syberię do pracy przymusowej w ekstremalnie trudnych warunkach. Miało to miejsce podczas II Wojny Światowej, po ataku
wojsk armii radzieckiej na Polskę 17 września, wkrótce po rozpoczęciu wojny przez Niemców. Wystawa pokazuje opisane zdjęcia deportowanych osób oraz
informacje dotyczące miejsc wygnania. Wielu z wywiezionych nigdy nie powróciło do domu. Mamy nadzieję na pokój na świecie.
